Title: Bumper Bar Rubbers
Post by: KFH on March 27, 2011, 12:07:49 PM
Starting to reassemble and finding a few more little bits I need.  Where can you get or what can you substitute with the rubbers that go between the bumper ends and body.  Mine are average but would prefer to replace if possible.

Hi Keith,
Nothing but great comments regarding these seals...give em a go

I'd use them but the channels where the rubber fits into on my FE are shot so there's nothing to attach too

hope this helps

Thanks FE 4 ME.  I already have a set of those and already on the car.  I agree with you they are a great quality product and look great.  The rubbers I am after is at the outer ends of the b/bars where the bolt goes through.

I have lots of them - There are varying thicknesses from about an inch to half an inch. I think mostly on the rear they are about half to three quarters of an inch. Send me a pm if interested. I will probably sell them for $10 for 4.

I was told by a FE/FC guru on our FE/FC club day they used the old rubbers off their sway bar, worked a treat, im sure they mentioned they did cut some in half

hope that helps
