Title: Door scratch pads Post by: Gordon on October 25, 2010, 04:38:36 PM Hi all after some information on FC door scratch pads,are they all the same or are back different to front,side to side different. If not the same whats the difference?

Correct, Pete - they have tabs marking which door they are from... RF (right hand front), RR (right hand rear), LF (left hand front), LR (left hand rear). There are two varieties of scratch plates (to my knowledge) - one type has a frosted centre, the other is polished. If it was ebay, you would have a case to go back to the seller if he listed them as a set and did not mention they were all the same. I guess we will see a lot of LR scratch plates on e bay. Still doesnt help you for scratch plates. I found a couple at the last swap meet but like most they had the tabs broken from being ripped off. Pete |
