Title: Rare Spares at it again!!!
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on October 23, 2010, 04:04:22 PM
I placed an order the other day at the local Rares dealer, took a couple of things with me and asked for the wiper gaskets and petrol tank sender to be posted out.
A few days later a package arrived, wiper gaskets and the petrol sender.

So I go to fit up my very shiny sender with my brand new allen head stainless screws and would you believe that the brand new rubber/neoprene(?) gasket they supplied had holes that were at least 1/2mm out and required some minor fiddling. [/sarcasm]

Great product though, it's a pity you have to put it in the petrol tank as they look great  ;D they work well too  ;)

X 2...

Despite the negative comments from time to time, without Rare Spares keeping the old girls on the road would be just so much more difficult.

Last week I had a problem with a  Rares rear screen rubber for a GT I'm doing a resto  on for a mate   I told Rare Spares about the problem 2 days later I received  a new rubber in the post . Rares after sales service was fantastic problem solved  :D :D :D :D so if you ever experience any problems  let them know ''direct'' before you start complaining, give them a chance to solve the problem and make you satisfied customer as I did  .....FC427.....

I fitted a new fuel tank seal to my car.  Didn't think it fitted but once I turned it upside down, the holes lined up perfect with the factory tank.

Cheers
Peter.
