Title: t-shirts
Post by: hoddo on February 09, 2003, 01:48:27 AM
Hi  :) I am an FC owner/lover... I also do a bit of screenprinting. Did this print for a friend and thought maby a few of you might like one. I can add names ect and theres plenty of sizes/styles and colors. With just the print front or back.. t/shirt is $12  Polo (collar) is $16 you will have to add postage..I am in the sydney area and can be contacted on  hoddo@zip.com.au

Sorry this is the only screen i have.. and i must confess i didnt draw it .. i took a scan from an old paper thin t/shirt  my mate has been saving for years,,spent a few hrs cleaning it up,, and thats it. If you got a drawing you like its not that hard to make it into a screen and print it.

 :)Hey hoddo,
What do you need as in shading for screen printing. Do you need the picture solid black, or colour, or can you do shading without any hassle.
Cheers Spider 8)

I thought that picture looked familiar!  That's the FC from the "Old Holdens Never Die, They Just Go Faster" T-Shirt that used to be around.  I think the original might have even been a poo-mobile ;D

shading is done in dots.. anything smaller than a good heavy biro fullstop is kinda hard to print on fabric.
Yep you could be right Ret.. the original was in a few colors..
one day i will do the work so i can print them in their two-tone glory  lol

Maybe we could organise a "web-site" T-Shirt?
With an FE and an FC?

I reckon Alex's artwork is up to the task if he agrees to contibute, sell them for $20 a pop and the profits go to the club after maybe a small fee for the artwork etc.

Just a thought.

Yeah, Denis, hence the  ;D ;D 8) 8) ;) ;).  What I should have said is "with a pic of an FE or FC with a "poo" colour scheme!.  (a nappy wipe - tilli stripe down the side would do! )   It appears we have a number of members who are fortunate enough to own a car with such a loved/popular colour scheme as the old Corsair Tan.   Maybe we could have a survey of members to find out what are the most common colours??    cheers,  Mike.

THE ULTIMATE CHRITMAS PRESENT!

OK you lot - you HAVE to get one of these t-shirts! They are awesome.

I just got a ladies sized one...yes that's right FINALLY a car club t-shirt comes in ladies sizes.  No more t-shirt dresses that go down to your knees, no more armholes hanging down to your waist (yes, thanks for the comment you're going to make on that one Slim!!  ;D)

These are the best quality, properly sized and well made t-shirts ever! And would be perfect for any chick that loves FE's and FC's.  Kathy Textor, you need one of these!  ;D

Hoddo, you're a legend!

Hoddo, looks great - can I have one without the pubes at the top, please?   ;)

I've sent you a separate email. Any chance of the colour scheme of my car?

Regards,

Martin

thanks Martin... I can print the fc in any 2 colors but i cant change the color scheme.. as in the roof must be same color as the rear 1/4.
As for the pubes at the top.. that joke is getting old
so this is definatley the last time I use my wife to model a t-shirt for the internet!

Hi  :)   I check this forum every day. Even tho I went to the dark side and my fc wagon lives in a shed, I love to read up on whats happening and still consider myself an fc enthusiast.
For the FC shirts email is probly the best, but be sure to put  " re t-shirt" or something similar in the subject so I dont miss it.. <hoddo@zip.com.au>

Hello All   :)

Sure has been a while, hope all is well. Just thought I'd give this old thread a bump as bigpond notified me today that its gonna delete all personal webspaces in sept and as thats where I linked the shirt pics from, after sept they will be no more. I know I could repost them but I decided to bump the thread and then let it die. Thanks to all who bought shirts, I will be keeping the screens so the print will always be available. The guy who bought my old green/cream fc wagon is doing a great job restoring it and anyone in the riverstone area might see it on the road.
