 second hand tho.

so have i they're just laying out in an old ute i have in the yard :o

I would love a set of those, but far too rich for my liking.

I have a brand new set of those frames that you can have for FREE.
I even have the original packaging.

The guy who made our Nationals number plates is looking at start making them he has sent info to Holden to get OK from them to go ahead. As soon as I find out more about them I will let know on the site.

I suppose if you want them bad enough and been wanting a set for ages then it's a matter of how bad you want it I guess.

not nessisarilly some collector freaks wouldn't have repro no matter how good ??? i've known of people paying good money for original venetians in ordinary condition rather than buying good new repro ones, some even like to brag about the rediculous price they paid

silly yes but cheap compared with the last couple of sets that were up in the $800's i even saw a single one sell the other week at over $100 for 1 :o

They are worth what people are prepared to pay for them. Magneto's were highly sought after and were very expensive. The amin advantage was that the higher you revved the engine the better spark you got. You also did not need to have a battery once started.

If someone is building a race car or hot "period" grey motor then a magneto would be very high on the shopping list.

The word RARE is used four times in the description so you know it's not going to be cheap
and mentions HOT GREY MOTOR five times so you know it's going to be expensive

Thank god he didn't use "NASCO ACCSESSORY"
cause you would then know it's way overpriced
and you could never afford it  ;D

I knew that the magneto's were highly sought after, but a sale price of over $1700.00.... :o :o

 I can buy a lot of points, coils and condensors for that!
