"Stinky's Seats"... :P ;) ;D
Out of interest, they have(had) a brand of seats called "Shitty Seats" in the US ::)
Unfortunately the word "Stinky" in the title has limited appeal outside of the people who know me, I found Street Trim is popular there's a place in NSW and one in the States too.
Yep, all the best with it Stinky!
Congrats Stinky!
and if you ever decide there is money in making the die for EK seat inserts I will be your first customer!
Matt
Thanks for all the well wishes.
Good to see you're finally doing what you wanted instead of working for the man Stinky 8) 8), congrats on getting more than you wanted for the vehicles you had on e-bay too, that would have put a smile on your dial ;)
Pedro
Another product I have the dies made for is the embossed/welded line on the FC door trims.
No pictures at present sorry, but if you saw Peter Mitchell's (stapla) FC Sedan at the Nats, the ones in his car were done by me ;D
I also have the black cardboard that matches the original door trim cardboard in stock, 2mm thick.
Good luck with the business stinky, will be in need of your services sometime next year. Light blue wagon headlining will probably be first
with rear cargo bits to follow. A question about door cards, are the wagon rear door cards the same as the sedan ones ???
Cheers stewy.

To the best of my knowledge they are, I see no good reason for them to be different.
Good luck with the business. I'll see if I can get some photos of the door trims.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Cheers
Peter.
BTTT, I've added a few products and prices to the list at the beginning of the post.
Door Trim cards, made to order.
Better than MDF or Masonite as they flex to the door curve plus they are the correct thickness which helps when installing the stainless tops.
$25 a card plus postage.
$30 a card plus postage with vinyl lining on one side to stop water soaking in.
Boxed up a set of 4 come to 3kg, 85cm x 50cm x 1cm.
Posting from 5501 SA, you can work out postage here -

or
e-go have great trasport prices, I can drop at the SA depot to save a few bucks - www.e-go.com.au

Here's a set of the door cards covered in Pearl Vinyl, the customer requested stitched lines, but I can also get them pressed in as per original.

The Mates got his 32 coupe trimmed in that white pearl and it looks stunning nice work Stinky ....FC427......

Dunno, he must be going senile :P
Yep, have to agree with you Kathi. GREY would look heaps better, maybe with a little Blue trim to match the plug leads ;D.
hey stinky was looking at your site and the seat that are balck and red are the same as in my taxi i just bought. I was talking to the missus (must have got her on a good day) and said Id like to change the interior completely in the custom FE but keep taxi the same. Then she said "leather would be cool", i told her its expensive. She said "yeah but u gotta be comfortable". So, just as a guide for say doing the black and reds like on your website, what would it cost roughly to do front and rear seats in vinyl versus leather in same colours. You can pm me if u like or give me a percentage more etc. My sister is at Gawler and it may be possible to get them to drop them in when i take them there eventually.
but my father in law also does upholstery as a hobby.

I'm with you, Mark; it really
does look stunning...
But being an old fart, I'd also have to agree with Kathi; it
would be nice in grey and would match my hair...
And as I'm a card-carrying 'senior citizen' I'm not yet sure on how to interpret Stinky's comment re senility... ???;)
Jack,
If you have a look at the new senior's cards, when you get them in the right light, they sort of have a pearlescence on them. I would have thought that you would have seen that from experience :P
Or should you be talking to OPSM ::)
Keith
Stinky
I also agree that those door trims look really schmick............ quality work there............. and the colour choice maybe was not because of senility but a flashback to a more vibrant youth. I have also viewed your site and must say the red and black seats certainly look the real deal. 8) 8)
Cheers Wayne
hand on hang on - did u say "senility" or "sterility"??? ::)
Ill wait til the missus is in a fabulous mood again and ill show her your site Stinky. Its been a long time since we have sat in the back seat together, when we are down there nexy, we might come over and test them out! :D
Keith, my eyesight is obviously not that good; never spotted the pearlescent seniors card... ::) And anyway; how did you know they are pearl?
Deano, pearl white seats would be just the perfect colour for certain 'recreational activities'... ;D
(if I wasn't past that sort of thing, I'd surely get some for my car ;D)
ok ill take the word from the sly ole fox ha ha. hey where u, not far from me by looks, portland way?

Jack,
The ACT government has recently introduced "Smart Card" technology for use on all ACTION services. As part of that roll out all ACT Seniors card are now able to be used as bus tickets. :P :P :P
Keith
That might come in handy for some who keep pulling apart their cars :D :D :D

Hope they introduce that in Vic, Keith; then all I'd need is for them to also provide a bus service to home from the pub...
Sore back? Freezing cold and the Nasco heater just isn't up to the task?

Strapped!
Need to lift a car body but don't want the chains to damage the panels? Got a motor to shift but nowhere to attach chains?
I am making myself some car body straps and thought others might want similar. They are made from 50mm Loadbinder (Transport Industry) Webbing, similar to what normal seatbelts are made from but about twice as thick.
Custom made, $5 per metre, $5 per join/attachment, other hardware POA.
For example a 4m loop (1 join) would cost $25 plus postage, a 5m length with a loop at each end would be $35.
I can sew in metal loops, triangles or whatever you want.
