Title: Rare spares
Post by: pedro on July 02, 2010, 05:27:34 PM
Thought I'd give Rare spares some praise for once, rang a rubber kit mob on the Gold coast monday told them I was ready to buy a rubber kit and a few other bits and they said they would e-mail me a price for the lot, still no reply >:(, so i gave rare spares in Brissy a ring today, spoke to a guy called Andrew who was very helpfull, he went through what was in the kit with me, I told him what else I needed and he came up with a few other things I hadn't thought of, he rang me back once to verify a couple of things and within half an hour he had e-mailed me a price for the lot, bloody good service :) :)

Norm and Dean at Rares here in Sydney are fantastic also.
They were gold sponsors of our recent Nationals.
Club members also get a club discount from them.
If the Qld club haven't put together a deal with the Brisbane outlet, you better get onto them.
As a matter of interest, mention that you are in the Qld club and see if he will come back with a discounted price.
Regards
Alex

Another vote for rare spares +1

Imagine what it would be like to keep your FE/FC tidy and roadworthy if rare spares didn't exist.

I had a few small quality issues with some rares bits, but overwhelmingly I'm extremely grateful they are still doing repro bits.

Cheers
Peter

Received my rubber kit today + all the extra bits and pieces I'd ordered so they have done the right thing by me and I'd recommend them,  I dealt with Andrew in Brisbane, Ph 32162600.

At the risk of offending the ebay bashers, the same could be said about ebay  :-*

ebay's very handy only real dramas it's driven prices through the roof good if yor selling not so good if yor buying and it's killing swap meets
