Title: wheel clearance
Post by: yackboy49 on June 16, 2010, 08:18:26 PM
I have had new front tyres fitted, and now have noticed that the clearance from the tyres to the mudguard is out about an inch different on one side, never noticed prior to that. any suggestions ?

Did you have a front end alignment done after they were fitted? Maybe you need to have one done.

Have a good look at your guards as well. It is possible that one may be out of shape a bit.

I'd put money on it that the wheel on the passenger side is closer to the guard than the drivers, It's the same with the rear, every FE/FC I've had was the same they would always scrape on the left side first.
