Title: HOLDEN DOOR TRIM OLD STYLE RED for FX FJ FC EK EJ EH
Post by: Old_Mt_Isa_Boy on April 26, 2010, 02:47:43 PM
Ebay Item #120559394348

The red fits in with my colour scheme. Has anyone used it? Not sure if Rare Spares sell it.

Regrads

Wayne

That's pinchweld, can't use it on FE/FCs, you need windlace.

BTW, just the auction number for the ebay link  ;)

Who sells the windlacing? I need to redo my FE - looks like loads of little dog turds on the floor every time I open the door  ::)

Rare Spares have windlace, apparently not the correct silver flecked gear though.

Thanks Stinky. Glad I checked. Old mate is not doing us any favours.

A few months ago I tried to get windlace from Rares.  They listed the black with gold fleck, however when I tried to get it, they couldn't get it in.

I ended up getting some black windlace with a black highlight.

Stinky put me on to a local trimming supply company that supplied it.  I think the manufacturer was in the states.  Each box they had was slightly different tint, so make sure you buy all you need at once.  Can't remember but I think it was $15/m or so and I got 12m which was more than enough.

Cheers
Peter.
