Title: national host towns
Post by: freddyc on March 04, 2010, 08:11:19 AM
Has the NSW set a precedence by choosing a town with a colour in its name? WA club will have to host at "greenough", QLD club at "gold Coast".

9th Nats (hosted by Queensland), were indeed on the Gold Coast, so NSW can't really claim the precedent.

(Having said that, the 8th Nats were in the Emerald City - Sydney - but that probably doesn't count... ;) )

The full list is here ($2).

maybe the qld club could host nats at "brownsville" sorry townsville. Although it is very green at present. God I hate rain when there is a deadline to meet.

You could go to Greenvale.  ;D Not to far from Brownsville.
We could all have a drink at the three rivers hotel. :P
