Title: Spark Plug Types Post by: Paul In Ireland on February 26, 2010, 11:43:08 AM What are the current thoughts on best model plugs to use in a grey? Bear in mind where I am so model numbers and manufacturers would be useful and I can use those to source them here.

I will remove one and get the details off one and let you know the thread depth of the ones i got.
Will Title: Re: Spark Plug Types Post by: wilburwilde on February 26, 2010, 10:19:23 PM I have a thread depth of 1/2 inch and the previous owners servicing person fitted 3/8 plugs. Poor little grey blew smoke and burnt oil. Re tapped threads and fitted NGK BP5HS. Now no oil burning and runs smooth as ice. Hope this helps. The AC have a short reach while the Bosch are long reach. I won't use NGK at all, after having 2 crook batches of new plugs. I fitted them for the Mt. G. nats, only to have to fit the old Bosch plugs to get going, which are still in the car.
