Title: Broken Indicator Stalk Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on February 07, 2010, 01:50:00 AM Hi all,
Several weeks ago I was in my FC indicating a left turn, when all of a sudden the indicator stalk snapped off at the shaft. Is there an easy fix? I'm running an EK column. Kind regards, Ol_Girl_58 Title: Re: Broken Indicator Stalk Post by: mcl1959 on February 07, 2010, 09:34:44 PM Yep - remove steering wheel and you will see the brass horn ring underneath - remove it and then the black metal cover over the indicator mechanism.
There is a tiny allen head screw which retains the stalk - remove this and then remove the small piece of broken stalk left in place. Ken Title: Re: Broken Indicator Stalk Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on February 07, 2010, 11:27:10 PM Excellent.
Thanks Ken ;D Kind regards, Josh Ol_Girl_58 Title: Re: Broken Indicator Stalk Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on February 09, 2010, 03:23:08 PM Hi all,
Does any other model Holden indicator stalk fit into an EK column? I am looking at purchasing an EH stalk - if it fits, of course. Cheers, Ol_Girl_58 Title: Re: Broken Indicator Stalk Post by: mcl1959 on February 09, 2010, 05:03:57 PM I don't think so - FE to EK are the same.
