Post by: pedro on July 17, 2009, 10:21:05 AM
G'day all, just put my first part on e-bay as I've come to the conclusion i'd rather have my wagon on the rd. than have parts sitting in the shed, as i'm new to this any tips on would be appreciated, anyway i thought i'd better start with something small and easy to post Ebay Item #250465744607

Hi Pedro, your link to the item doesn't seem to work, but you can find the item by typing the item number into the search bar once you are on the ebay site. Good luck with your first sale auction. FC Mikey

Hey Pedro - the reason why it did not go for much is because it was not a Nasco or Smiths heater tap.  The original taps still remain "hard to come by" as you say.

No worries Ken, had one of those days yesterday, spent three hours on the road, came home to find the dog had chewed my slippers and shoes >:( and then discovered the part had only sold for $10 so i spat the dummy and went and bought a bottle of bundy(medicinal purposes only ;)), feel a lot better today, do the smiths and nasco taps have any particular markings so i will know one when i see it.
                                           Thanks Pedro
