WHICH MODEL AND YEARS HAD THE 2 DIFFERENT COLOURED TAIL LIGHT INDICATORS??

WHICH HAD CLEAR AND WHICH HAD AMBER???

I understand the change was around September 1959. All models previously had clear indicators and from September 1959 all had amber.

Hi, I just went and checked. The amber lights were introduced on October 1959, sorry for the confusion.

thank you so much, now i can order the appropriate colours for my cars.

i will try post some pics of all my FC's i am restoring.

2 x P/Van
1 x Sedan
1 x Wagon and looking for a ute to complete the collection.

(1 of the vans is going to be kinda converted to a hearse, no body mods just all the fittings from a hearse)

Just to clarify, the early models had red indictors - that is the red brake light flashed. The later cars introduced the amber lens as a separate indicator.
In the early cars the white lens was only for reversing lights.
