Title: Door Trim Mouldings Post by: Ken's 57 on January 19, 2009, 10:19:33 AM Could anyone tell me if removing the moulding strip on top of the door trim and then replacing it again can be a problem? I'd like to re-tension the smaller Cosmos Grey insert to remove the slight ripple but it might be wiser to leave well enough alone. As you can see it's not major. According to the workshop manual it's a press fit so I'm thinking I might strike trouble trying to get it back on again without damaging it - especially where it curves around at the front section.

On standard trims getting the top trims off and on is not a problem, if you have trouble getting them to stay on when replaced a few taps with a rubber mallet should close them up enough to "bite".
