I have a full set of front windscreen stainless trims, but have no idea what would be a fair price. I live in Toowoomba. Do you need the full set or just the vertical front pillar sections? Anyone else have an idea of their value? They are in pretty good condition, very straight & stainless in good order. Ken just a thought , if you have to freight moulds /long chrome stuff , i had just bought sum moulds for my 64 rambler coupe, i had em shipped from the usa in plumbing plastic conjute, got here in one piece no probs ;) Title: Re: front window stainlees trim Post by: mcl1959 on January 05, 2009, 10:22:00 PM IMHO here is what I believe the trims are worth.
Top trim - not too hard to find $5-$10 Side trims - hard to get with NO wiper scratches or dents $5 - $30 each Bottom trim - Hard to get without stone dents or bends at the ends $10 - $40 So a poor set could be as cheap as $25 whilst a really top set could be $110. I think the top one may fit in a large tube but the bottom one won't fit and is the most fragile of all the trims. It could be freighted by taping it to a flat board and then wrapping it in bubble wrap.
