Terry remove the windscreen from the car then remove the glass from the rubber and then the stainless can be removed with out damage it just hooks in to the rubber and is easy to remove once the glass is removed ....I trust you know how to remove the windscreen from the car .......FC427........

NO NO NO - remove the steel trims on the inside along with the visors and mirror. Remove the windscreen wipers on the outside and the 4 small screws in each corner (some cars may only have 2).
Then lie on the seat and place your feet (wearing runners) on one top corner of the screen and push until the screen just starts to give, then move towards the centre and eventually across to the other side. Now push a little more until the screen just shows some daylight and move back to the centre and across to the other side. It should come out easy from then.
