Title: FE FC Wheels on a Trailer
Post by: REDMR2RED on December 19, 2008, 04:28:33 PM
I'm building a Tear Drop Caravan   ;D  and want to put 13 inch FE FC Wheels, (which I already have, thanks Tony) on it to match my FC Ute.  The Axles I've been quoted are for Holden HT stud pattern.

Short of taking a wheel with me ...... will an FC 13 inch wheel fit the HT stud pattern?  If not what is the latest Holden hub/stud pattern that fits a 13 inch wheel.

Apparently their price list did not include FE FC Hubs.   >:(

Cheers, Kevin

The FC has the same stud pattern as HT so the wheels will fit Kevin.

there's no brakes is there? you may need the 14" diameter to clear them if there is

Thanks Ratbox, No, no brakes.  I've been reading the Aussie Design Rules "National Code of Practice" for home built trailers and caravans. Not exceeding 0.75 tonne no brakes required.  Alls I have to do now is keep the Tear Drop under 0.75 tonne.   ;D

Kevin, I think you'll find that's 750kg LOADED.  So be careful to allow for food, pots & pans, blankets, personal gear, etc.  All that can add up to a fair bit.
