Title: removing front coil springs

hi guys i have a fc with std front end (kingpins etc...) what id like to know is how differcult is it to remove the front coils as i have to replace 1 of them so i thought i would replace both, are there any tricks i should know about? i do have spring compressors.
also what other modal holdens share the same or simlair size coils to the FC. ???

Support the crossmember on stands - high enough that the lower wishbone can swing down.
Undo & remove the shocker
Place a trolley jack under the wishbone at the king pin end and take the weight off the bump rubber.
Undo the lower king pin bolt - this will save upsetting the alignment settings.
lower the trolley jack and the spring will release.

Installation is reverse - note that the spring end sits in the notch in the wishbone and must be seated correctly in the top of the suspension tower.

Basically the only other identical spring which will fit is FE, however later models up to EH can be used but they have different ratings.
