Title: FLAT SPOT
Post by: freddyc on December 03, 2008, 11:00:56 PM
My standard strommie has a flat spot and is back firing, back through carbie. This is one of those reco carbies. Have replaced plugs, points and condensor also. The car runs rough at 60 kph, idles great. Flat spot is just above 1200 rpm. Any help appreciated

Hello,
Check that all your vaccum lines are tight and check both timing and float level

                            Hope this helps
