Title: FC Van
Post by: Paul In Ireland on November 30, 2008, 06:39:44 AM
Not sure if this is good value or not but I thought most vans that had the glass usually got the third door and a back seat. Did they also come in glass and just a front seat?

The base model just had the windows as shown in this vehicle - but more money could buy you a rear seat and still more bought a third door. When I spoke to the original owner of Bailey's motors in Melbourne he still remembered the conversions well, and he told me that any combination of seats, doors, trims, roof linings and windows was available - They basically built the van to the customer's requirements. The "Estate Car" that they offered not only included the rear seat and door along with the sliding rear windows, but had 2 tone paint, sunvisor and spats - It was a real luxury vehicle (for the time).
