Spoke to GP today and the ACT Club had 4 cars come down.
Chris, l don't like my cars getting wet either but l went to the 40th and the 50th  :) and don't want to miss the 60th. It's easy enough to dry the cars out afterwards in the shed.
Don't miss out!  See you tommorrow  :)
Cheers,
 Tony.

Are there any photos of this that someone can post?  I will find out nothing about from the ACT contingent who swore before leaving that "What happens in Melbourne stays in Melbourne".  Anyone?

David

Tony,
Did the cars actually get judged? and if so, who won?
(bye the bye, you were dead right about not letting a bit of rain (and hail) spoil a great opportunity! I'm so glad we went ;D).
Chris

Hi Chris,
Glad you and your family made it we had a great time. Yes the cars did get judged but l think most of us didn't care if our cars were to be judged. Before we left our cars to have alook around Holden they informed us if we wanted to have our cars judged to leave them open. I didn't want to stay with my cars so they were left closed all day. The one's that did get a trophy are 1948-1957 3 FJ's took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 1958-1967 1st place EK 2nd HR and 3rd HR.
Cheers,
 Tony.

Ok, so NO-ONE who attended knows how to post a photo on the forum?  These are photos sent to me (by a moderator who doesn't know how to post photos on the forum - no names mentioned, but if you identify any moderators in the photos then it might be him).

Saw Holden's 60th advertised on channel 9 for this Saturday 6th December at 4.30pm in Melbourne. Same time as Bill advised us so it looks like it will be on this time in all major cities at least. Will have to remind the missus to set the DVD recorder.
Cheers,
 Tony.
