Title: GMH Hialeah Green paint formula
Post by: rob_jensen on November 07, 2008, 01:31:36 PM
Hi, Can anyone help me out with the paint formula for my 1958 FC Van - Hialeah Green 2102

The Exterior Trim Code (350) describes this car as Single-Tone: Hialeah Green.

I want to repaint the Van in acrylic & hopefully end up with an original type DUCO Lacquer finish.

thanks Rob.

Rob,
Balm Paint Refinish Tinting System Book about 1968:

Refer
LEVANT GREEN
1956
-----
1956
LEVANT (HIALEAH) GREEN - 7466
Tinter   Setting
1012   227
1021   260

Your Paint supplier/tinter will need to consult PPG to obtain availability of this colour.

Thanks Geoff
This will help me out heaps.
I have got the guards off the car to go to the Panel Beater & I have removed the mould & found the original colour is underneath.
Great colour & can't wait to see the car painted.
Thanks again Rob.
