Title: V6 CHEV INTO FC
Post by: brads59 on December 10, 2002, 10:15:16 AM
Hi guys,
Just wondering if anybody has had much to do with V6 chev engines.
I have just aquired a 229ci V6 chev and want to know how they perform. They are almost identical to the V8,
ie. same bolt pattern for gearbox, same oil pump, timing cover, water pump and so on.Being naturally aspirated
makes it a lot easier to fit and get running i would assume, but im interested to know if they go  hard if worked a little, and do they sound like a chev with 2 less pots? Ifthat makes sense.....
Any feed back would be great....thanx.....

Hi Brad give member (Jonesy) an I-M and he will give you a few stats on the chev v6 -more powerfull than the comm v6 by a longshot
He doesnt have regular access to a computer so bare with him, He dropped a supercharged version into an LJ and knows a bit too.
By the way I believe theyre the same block as a comm v6 so check out the members cars thread
