Title: steering wheel removal

whats the easiest way to remove the steering wheel?
and any suggestions on where to get it repaired in melb/vic?

Jarrod, the best way is with a proper wheel puller. Are you a member of a club? Members are usually happy to loan tools to other members once they get to know you.

You can try hitting the steering shaft with a brass hammer while apply pulling pressure to the wheel - there are threads discussing this and the things to look out for when attempting it - do a search on steering wheel removal.

Pearlcote in Melb will restore your steering wheel.

And I think Ken might have meant Pearlcraft rather than Pearlcote. Pearlcraft used to be in Warragul (Vic) but they moved to Bega (NSW) earlier this year.  Hope this helps!
