Title: Car for sale in the UK Post by: Paul In Ireland on May 25, 2008, 08:08:03 AM I know it is not FE/FC but it is a Holden and I just thought is was terribly expensive for what it is. Here is the ad:
For Sale 2001 Holden VX Commadore SS, 5.7 litre unrestricted V8, red, AC, cruise control, six speed manual, now UK registered, taxed with a current MOT. Just 96000 KM. Serviced regularly and goes exceptionaly well. The current owner has owned the car for four years and shipped it back when he returned from New Zealand. It has been fitted with some nice alloys since this picture was taken. It is also fitted with an Australian cyclops alarm system with microwave surround attachment. The asking price has just been reduced to £17,500 (= AUS$36,000) Surely a 7 year old VX isn't worth that? Title: Re: Car for sale in the UK Post by: Sheriff on May 25, 2008, 10:39:08 AM Not in Australia , Paul, but in the UK where such cars would be rare, why not? ;D Being a Holden, it would be up there with the best Europe has to offer, and might be in fact a cheap performance car at that price. I don't imagine you would see too many SS Commodores on the roads in the UK. (also imagine you would only see the rear end anyway..... ;) Mike
