Title: Re: Anyone in or near Toowoomba East? Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on May 26, 2008, 12:44:59 AM Crap! three seconds and a bloody sniper got me by 50 cents.
Title: Re: Anyone in or near Toowoomba East? Post by: mikey on May 26, 2008, 05:12:36 AM 50 cents, well sort of, the winning bid put in in all reality could have been 1 million dollars but it is just a bit higher than you wanted to go.
Thats what I say to myself when I miss out to try and make myself feel better. ::) Doesn't always work. :( Cheers M Title: Re: Anyone in or near Toowoomba East? Post by: Paul In Ireland on May 26, 2008, 08:02:45 AM I started using a snipe programme recently on a months free trial called www.auctionraptor.com and it worked for me. You pay by the month rather then a percentage of your wins which I thought better for me.
Title: Re: Anyone in or near Toowoomba East? Post by: mikey on May 26, 2008, 07:11:32 PM Paul,
Just google "free snipe" there are ones that are for free. You can also use 2 or more snipe sites to bid on the same item in case there are server problems with one of the snipe sites. Use the others as backup. Cheers M Title: Re: Anyone in or near Toowoomba East? Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on May 26, 2008, 11:11:51 PM I am actually going to try the good old swap meet next time ::) not many Strombergs are coming up on ebay or anywhere else for that matter.
