Title: Holden commodore 5 speed box Post by: I958GM on April 14, 2008, 02:18:20 PM l have got hold of a 5 speed box out of a commodore for next to nothing and would like to know what is involved in puttung it in a FC? Any good points/ any bad points as it will be going behind a 202 xu1 type motor. Thanks for any help-Mark
Title: Re: Holden commodore 5 speed box Post by: FC427 on April 14, 2008, 02:46:22 PM Not the strongest of gear box I broke 2 of these 5 speeds in my one toner with a warm 202 in six months and I am not that hard on a car sell it and get a supra 5 speed and you will never look back . The good thing about them is the ratios were nice ......FC427.......
