Were there many twin carb manifolds released for red motors?
If more than one, which are considered more desirable and/or better performing?

Holden made twin carby manifolds for the X2 HD HR holdens and at that time were the ants pants. Then came along triples and the rest is history.

I just sold last week on ebay an old THOMAS twin carb set up with no linkages in great shape and it only made $76 so they are not dear......FC427......

Crap, I'll have to keep an eye out, I have a nice Thomas rocker cover that would have matched nicely.

There was a complete twin carb setup on e-bay last week, only $150 when i saw it, thought about it but need the dough for the sanblaster :(.
