Here are a couple of pics from the contingent of the NSW Club that left on Tuesday for Mt Gambier.

On Tuesday night we stopped at Wangaratta (as usual). We were met there by members of the Early Holden Club of Wangaratta, who made us very welcome, sorted out our mechanical requirements, and provided plenty of shopper dockets for the local Hotel Pinsent so we could enjoy a discounted meal. Thanks to Lester, Chris and all the gang who met us there.

On Wednesday we drove from Wang to Apollo Bay, skirting around Melbourne as best we could :-*

At Seymour John P had a woman back into his car and then knock him down as well trying to escape without leaving details. That got reported to the cops at Geelong, so there's no doubt more to be added to that story down the track.

Here we are waiting for him after we'd heard the drama, on the side of the road.

Here we are near Anglesea (IIRC, poss. Torquay) at the start of the Great Ocean Road.

Here's a few shots from the day we cruised the Great Ocean Road. (Plenty of other people are posting shots from the Show 'n' Shine, so these are a different perspective).

Driving the minor road off the G.O.R. that takes you to...

... the Otway Lighthouse

It wasn't easy to get a shot of the convoy without other tourists' cars in the way.

One of the famous "Twelve Apostles"

The coastline really is very spectacular. It's a shame we had rain and bitterly cold winds that day, but it didn't detract too much from the scenery. We were just bloody cold when we got out of the cars.
