Title: Another Holden
Post by: KFH on November 15, 2007, 09:51:47 PM
Here is a picture of an FE in front of the historic Empire Theatre in Toowoomba.  Originally a picture theatre in 1911, burnt down in 1933 and rebuilt, closed in 1971 , refurbished in 1997 as a performance theatre and is now historic listed. Picture circa 1968.

Ok, so by the late 50s GMH had 50% market share, so it follows that almost any old picture with a road involved will almost certainly include an FE/FC. It's not as if its, like, a surprise or something (to use 16yr old daughterspeak 8))

Seems to me it would be more fun if we looked for cars that are NOT so common. F'rinstance count the 1939 Packards or something....  :o :o ;D ;D ;D

Cheers
