Title: FE production line
Post by: customFC on October 03, 2007, 11:28:58 PM
Here are some production line pics I found on the National Archive site.
No reproductions without NAA approval.
A series of pics taken at Fisherman's Bend 1956. The cars are almost complete. Check out the guys on ladders holding up the lights for the camera in the 4th pic.

;)Great pictures Alex, As always it's good to see the old cars when they were new and is always interesting to see the assembly lines as they were back then.
I guess these blokes were doing some detailing work and fixing some last  bits and pieces like head light surrounds.
Thanks again. ;)
Regards. Leon

Not a Vanguard, a Vauxhall Velox that were not bad sellers in this model type, compared to a number of other Vauxhall cars that were outright flops from the factory.
