Title: wiper arms out sinc
Post by: Phantom on March 04, 2007, 12:48:37 AM
G'day all,
Just put in my new two speed wiper motor(thanks heaps Ken) , but me running true to form have stuffed it up somehow, apart from dropping nuts down the heater opening for the demister hoses , i have managed to have the wiper arms going at different times, well out of sync, can someone tell me what i have done ?I am pretty sure i put them back how they came off but its got me buggered.
                               Cheers Rusty

This one is tricky... Basically it's hit and miss where you have to adjust the arms via the wiper motor spindle.

I had to do mine a tooth at a time untill I got them back in sync. That is undo the nut, and advance the cog one tooth until you get the correct position.

Cheers
Jason.

ok you have the short arm coming off the motor the arm for the passenger side goes there, and the driver side goes the other end.
