Title: crash box colour Post by: FC_fer_me on February 17, 2007, 06:59:46 AM Hi, does anybody know the original colour of the 3 speed crash boxes in FC's. Mine is a greeny-blue colour and while I've got the box out for o/haul I'd like to paint it the original colour. Any help appreciated. Cheers' David ::)

My missus reckons you should paint it purple, that would be original ;D. But I agree with Ken, grey motor grey is the way to go for authenticity. If you need an up to date paint code I have a mate who is a rep for Harts Paint and some original painted parts to match from. It may take a while as my projects take second place to his real job ;).
