Title: Carby model number help needed
Post by: ASUS on January 30, 2007, 09:23:37 AM
Hi,

I've put my carby in for rebuild, spindals, kit, bushes etc.  I was advised the carby I put in was original 23-105d, but the one which I have just pulled of the fC is a 23 3000H.

if the 23-105D is original, what is the 23-3000h which was on the manifold.

does any one have info

I'm sure 23-105D is FE/FC and I have it written somewhere in some book or other, but I can't find it now.  I'm pretty sure the 23-3000H is the FJ carby

Thanks Ken,

I found out today through precision automotive in ACT that the 23-105D is the original carby for FX-FC, the second is the next iteration for the FC - FB 23 3000 H.  Good to see that I have orriginal parts  The gent who does these up has been doing it for over 50 years, and I cant wait to see the job.  Even re-coloured the carby.

I'd love to get his Carby manual.
