Title: Seat belts again
Post by: Russ on November 22, 2006, 07:01:43 AM
I looked through the old post but didn't find anything i needed or didn't already know.  ???

I know the size plates and bolts needed but what i couldn't find was the location to bolt them.

The front i guess just through the floor at the specified angle (as in the ADR list) but the rear seat, the one that will have the baby seat on it , it gets tricky because there is a near vertical section just behind the lower seat section, do i bolt through the vertical piece or go a bit higher and go into the boot and bolt through the floor??? also the rear shocky mounts are right where i would want to put the middle bolt has anyone done this where is the best spot. i need to get the baby seat in so i can go in the Darwin powercruise and get my ugly mug in streetmachine. (item # 7 on "things to do before i die" list.  ;) )

Thanks Russ

I have three belts in the back of the FE, 2 lap sash and 1 lap.
The bolts are
2 In the parcel shelf far corner, one each side.
2 On the wheel tub, one each side.
2 On the car floor, about where the top and bottom sections of the seats join.
