Hi, are FC front shockers the same as FB? I need a pair for my Ute and the catalogue I was looking at only lists FB onwards. The same catalogue also lists rear shocks as FE onwards so I'm a bit confused as to whether they are the same or not.
Hope someone can help!
Thanks, Matt.

G'day Matt,
FB front shockys are different to stock FE-FC ones.
From memory FJ-FC front shocks are the same.

Thanks ACE!
Just had a look on the Pedders website and they have them listed so I'm hoping they are still readily available. Has anybody used these or are there better options out there?
Cheers, Matt.

Pedders shocks are fine - The FB onwards shocks can be fitted by installing FB / EK lower wishbones. The problem with FE FC shocks is that the pin protrudes down lower than the wishbone.

Finally scored a pair of new front shocks for the ute today but when I went to put them in I realised that the lower mounting plates are missing.
As Rares dont have them listed on the website, does anyone know if they stock them? Better yet, does anyone here have a pair they don't want and want to sell?
Cheers, Matt.
