Hmmmmmm. Front brake hose is too long to replace a clutch hose. But in theory there is no reason why it could not be used. The extra hose on the front brake system I would advise against because the hoses are always kept as short as possible in order to stop soft pedal due to brake hose swell under pressure.

I made a intriguing discovery the other day on the hoist the passenger side hose chafes on the bloody tyre on full lock so i have been fart assing about to get it to stop it doing it.
Might just fit HK T G spring doovers to it.

Dave, the rubber hose goes straight to a clip, then there is a piece I believe that is solid that goes to the brass block, which is about 30 cm long (I think so on that side).

I think this is the brass block your on about

If you do want to leave the solid pipe and flexible hose combination behind try these guys - http://www.helperformance.com.au

I would rather go the solid line as per standard. What you put between the steel and the slave cylinder is up to you but the stock set up looks tidy.

I have a solid clutch line down from the master along the subframe and then a rubber to the slave if that helps

I just purchased fittings for either end and braided hose by the mtr from the local car place and they just crimp in when you do the fittings up.

Not original but made life easy.

I have used a HR flexable clutch line from master to slave on FB and FC . I remember it being a bit long maybe , but when you dump the clutch you don't have to wait 10 seconds for it to grab as per standard. I think it was the Larger inside diameter that made for quicker flow of fluid.
