Got the opportunity to drive all the new VZ model Commodes last Friday - woohoo! The new alloy V6 could have been THE motor for modifieds with 190kw & 6 speed it weighs less than a red with 5 speed. Who needs a V8? It absolutely flize but they all have a new stability control system thingy computer linked to the donk, so might have to be a software nerd to hack it for old Holden use.
The general has also put noise back into the Monaro with 2 wopping big exhaust pipes off the GTO out the back. sounds real sweet when you drop back to 2nd at about 120. Grab a test drive at a dealer when they're released, you'll luv it.
cheers,
Leigh

The narrower 'V' angle of 60 degrees vs 90 for VN-V V6s and all V8s might make it a neater fit too- notice I didn't say 'easier'.
