HI ALL I AM NEW TO THE FORUM AND THOUGHT I WOULD SEND SOME PICS OF MY NEW FE ITS A 57 SPECIAL BLACK WITH A FALL RED INTERIOR, NICE AND STRAIGHT WITH NO RUST EXCEPT FOR THE SURFACE RUST WHERE THE PAINT HAS WORN THROUGH ITS GOT 70,000 ORIGINAL MILES, 2 PREVIOUS OWNERS. I FOUND IT AT A LOCAL FARM WHERE IT HAD BEEN SITTING SINCE 1975. I HOPE THE PICS COME THROUGH AS I AM A BIT OF A COMPUTOR NOVICE   SEE YA

Snuff don't paint it patina like that can't be bought just lower it and fit whitewalls Grin and Cruze...... Welcome to the FE FC family ........FC427.......

I agree FC427!  Grin  Lower it, whack on some whitewalls and enjoy not feeling like you wanna clean it 5 minutes after the last time you cleaned it!  Grin

SHE'S GETTING PAINTED AND THE CHROME REDONE THE INTERIOR JUST NEEDS A CLEAN. I GOT A SET OF BIG WIDE 5 1/2 INCH RIMS AND I'LL GET SOME WHITEWALLS   HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE IT ALL DONE BY THE END OF THIS YEAR AND I'LL SEE YOU ALL AT ORANGE NEXT YEAR   DAVE

Yeah, as much as I said leave it be, having a shiny black FE with red trim and whitewalls is kinda special - but I could just be a little bit biased!  Wink

Best of luck with your mini-rebuild Dave - hope it all goes well and you have no troubles making it to Orange in 2010.  Grin
