Yes you can run a single circuit, but the VH 44 has only 820.psi output pressure which is only enough pressure to opperate 4 wheel drums, or you can split the system with a 1" bore tandem master cylinder and boost the front disks only. But you will still need a lot of effort on the brake peddle to pull the car up. You should use a VH40L booster which runs 1470psi output pressure with a crack pressure of 25psi with this booster you can run the single system but you will have to install a proportioning valve in the line to the back brakes or reduce the rear wheel cylinder size.
