I am unsure of the setup using this booster is it ok to keep the single system or do i need to get another master cylinder with twin lines(front rear) using HR discs

It is best to boost the front brakes, but you can boost all 4 and still retain the original master cylinder. Depends how much work you want to go to.

;)HI 2tone
ITS OK TO KEEP THE SINGLE CIRCUIT BRAKING SYSTEM. HAVE A LOOK AT A HR (SINGLE CIRCUIT) DISC BRAKE SET UP.

Hi 2tone,
Yes you can run a single circuit, but the VH 44 has only 820.psi output pressure which is only enough pressure to opperate 4 wheel drums, or you can split the system with a 1" bore tandem master cylinder and boost the front disks only. But you will still need a lot of effort on the brake peddle to pull the car up.
You should use a VH40L booster which runs 1470psi output pressure with a crack pressure of 25psi with this booster you can run the single system but you will have to install a proportioning valve in the line to the back brakes or reduce the rear wheel cylinder size.
Hope this helps
Steve.
