geooff maybe you can send a pic of the strip i mean

the nasco one which sits i believe about 1 inch from the peak of the headlight and is about 6 inches long

do you mean the "Fender Spear" or "Wind Split" that sits on top of the fender?
(if you find them I have fitting instructiond for you to copy if you like)

They are called "Fender Ornaments" & were only available for the FB EK. EJ EH had different types.
Sometimes retro fitted to FE & FC.

Seek& yea shall find. You want them, you need to look harder.
