Geez mate, you move fast!  I had to replay it 3 times before my eyes adjusted  Cheesy

What did you tack to the roof for the slide hammer to grab on to - are they pins that you buy?

Cheers,

John
just tacked 2.4 mm tig welding rod .
my friend just purchased a similar tool that spotwelds then slide hammer etc
it cost him over a 1000 bucks
i found a chuck from an old drill and saw the slide hammer.......
found some threads to screw the 2 together and i had this great little tool to pull stuff out where you cant get behind with hammer and dolly

Too good to be true of course. Just because it was in a Natrad box and had a fresh coat of paint. Still it’s better than the one I have, albeit that one is a three core. I gave him $40. Apology for the hijack Wayno.

no hijack here.seems relevant to me....

Good progress. Scored a HR radiator off gumtree for my FB ute today. Recored but never used $80.

I had a HD with ht wheels as my first car. I got the offset changed to clear caliper. My rims cracked between the studs as well. Always thought  it was the offset.
Was probably the wheelnuts.....
Interesting......

Finally got the k frame and front inner skirt welded in. Big milestone for me. Something I've been putting off for a year or more. Glad it's done. Now I can move on to the fun stuff again

paint alone is expensive, these days .i think the guy that painted the lone star ute said it was 1000 bucks for 4 litres of clear...ppg though .that stuffs pricey

This bit had some rust. Sills will probably  come off to check for more.this is the worst rust ive found in the whole car so far.pretty lucky  i think.easy fix. Contemplating welding some rhs  into the sill to strengthen the chassis aswell.i 've been thinking of cutting off the sills to do this anyway.

depends what tyre youre gonna run.
im gonna try and get some more guard clearance seeing how close i can get that inner to the quarter panel.
seeing as though i got my 1/4 panel off i can check pretty easy
i will get back to you on that one.
