Title: Front control arm spacers

Has anyone have the width of the spacers to fit the top and bottom control arms...or has anyone just fitted them by eye having the same distance on each side...when I dismantled the front end for blasting and painting I measured the distance between the control arm and front cross member and got different measurements on each side and of course I didn’t write the measurements down...
Thanks in advance

They’re only really necessary when fitting new wishbones. New wishbones have no thread cut in the holes, so the spacers are needed to provide a stop so that the nuts will cut there way into the metal and not distort the wishbones.
If you’re using secondhand wishbones the threads are already cut and you just line them up centrally as you suggest.
