Title: FE vs FC bonnet
Post by: 59wagon on February 25, 2019, 01:06:54 PM
Hi guys,

It only recently got pointed out to me that the bonnet that came with my FC wagon was perhaps an FE one - it’s got both an FE and FC ornament on it

Looking at the parts manual, the bonnets have different part numbers. Anyone know the difference between the two?

Cheers,

John

John,

The FE bonnets have the gullwing ornament, the FC bonnets have the "HOLDEN" name in letters.
I'm guessing the difference in part numbers comes from the different drillings in both.

Thanks Rob, that's what I'm hoping.  I just had another look in the parts manual and, as far as I can see, all the other hood parts, eg. hinges, etc. are the same for each model.

Cheers,

John
