Is there a trick to getting the door hinge screws out?
The ones on the wagon look shot and the hinges need replacing.
plus ...
Once they are out, is there a modern replacement? maybe an allen key bolt or similar?

Hi stinky
For some reason they seem to attract moisture and can be stubborn to get out.
A slight hit with a punch and hammer sometimes free's them up, if not you may have to heat them up or drill them out.
They are by my memory just a counter sunk headed 5/16 unc bolt
I got my hinges re-bushed at a local engineering shop for $20

Use an impact screwdriver with the correct size philips head screw bit, you can access the back of the screw from inside the guard the apply WD40 or such.
There is a modern hex head replacement available at any specilaty fastener mob.

Thanks for asking this one Stinky... I'm having trouble getting some tailgate screws undone and wondered if there was a trick to that also... I've can only get 2 out of the 8 done, and I didn't want to bugger the rest trying....
Cheers
Les...

Stinky,
I have an impact screw driver if you want to borrow it - they're a bloody handy tool. I can bring it to Gungellan Hotel on Sunday if you want it.
