Found this in an old mag. Caption says
pic was taken at the castlereagh drag strip in
autumn 1966.
Radical custom ..has extended roof...54 chev tail lamps and undercut fins. Vented fenders and looks like one piece 5 spoke push in wheel trims. can't see any back door handles Of course some of u will pick up other custom touches.

g'day alex you might as well stay on the forum...sounds like you won't be much ues to your mrs now!custom rodder no. 83 1985 heading on the page is "out of the past" i always get a buzz out of these old mags

I have that mag somewhere. Don't remember that pic. Haven't looked at those issues for quite a while. Maybe I will dig them out soon.

Man,
That is cool. I would love to know what those wheel trims are. I have a NOS set for 12 inch wheels. They are an alloy contre, with a stainless surround & chromed steel fake wheel nuts. I was told they may have been "Les Leston" accessories. He made steering wheels & so on. Was from the UK.
