I've bought a new FLex plate to fit to my Red 202 so I can match up a Trimatic, but I'm not sure which way to hang it ?

The flex plate has recessed areas on one side for the converter to bolt up to ( 3 on the outside and 1 big recess in the middle ).

WHich way does the recessed side face....the motor, or the converter ?

ANy help greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Mark

Hi Blown FC

You will find the flex plate is not dead flat.

When you look at the engine side on, I think The  ring gear is more towards the engine and the crank flange section is towards the transmission.
