Whats with the lettering? Genuine? and i gotta think are they really worth THAT much?

That is genuine lettering, believe it or not. 



The method by which Wilsonia glass was printed left a little to be desired, and over time the lettering literally slid off.

You can buy a reproduction of the glass, which will add around $40-50 to your purchase.

It's not worth $700 in my opinion, which is to say I wouldn't part with $700 for one personally. YMMV.
